PNBA Men’s Physique athlete Massimiliano Sertori’s total body transformation. 

Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) athlete Massimiliano Sertori recently shared an inspirational natural bodybuilding transformation on Instagram. PNBA Massimiliano Sertori is a Men’s Physique competitor. He was the winner in his pro debut at the 2022 International Natural Bodybuilding Associating (INBA) PNBA Battle Against Cancer show in Corona, CA, on May 28. Sertori’s transformation led to gaining massive muscle mass and losing body fat. And he shared with us how he did it.

Massimiliano Sertori’s Road to Natural Olympia

Massimiliano Sertori, “The Italian Stallion,” was born in Italy on November 24, 1998. Sertori’s natural bodybuilding journey began at age 13. He started working out at home with equipment his parents got him. And he was bringing chicken and protein shakes to school–which he admits he was made fun of for, but Sertori doesn’t regret it because Sertori said it’s what’s got him to where he is today. The results he got with his body gave him a huge confidence boost. And at 13, Sertori wrote down a goal of competing at Natural Olympia. Now, that goal is a reality for Sertori. He stated: 

“when I left at 13 I took a diary to write down the various goals and dreams I wanted to achieve, one of these going to nature olympia from pro men’s physique… thinking about 23 years of walking on that stage literally makes me shiver… and today, years later, it is reality !!!”

Training and Nutrition

Looking at Massimiliano Sertori’s physique, you can see he’s got monster shoulders. Sertori trains his shoulders hard and says lateral raises and the military press are his favorite. For nutrition, Sertori consumes horse beef and chicken, oats, basmati rice, unleavened bread, olive oil, nuts, carrots, and cauliflower. 

Massimiliano Sertori said he started training five days weekly, copying bodybuilding champions’ regimens to build his physique. Massimiliano works out from home and spends his morning doing cardio and practicing posing. He then works at a factory (and personal trainer and a posing coach) then comes home for his workout in the evening.

Ultimately, Sertori’s goal is to place in the top 10 at Natural Olympia. Sertori stated:

“Representing my nation and the athlete I am at natural Olympia is priceless … at 22 it’s a unique dream … always have dreams … goals … whatever big and small they are and believe in yourself … and trust yourself someday you will look back and smile with tears in your proud eyes

So enjoy the process, never give up… remember that bodybuilding is more than a sport you have to be ready to give 110% knowing that maybe you will get 20… but that’s it, nothing comes from nothing. And day after day year after year, do not miss when they are not there, no skipping training must be constant (change is achieved brick by brick every day) you have to be patient and not in a hurry”
