PNBA natural bodybuilder Tiffany Stosich shared a four-year transformation photo and how she accomplished it.

You must implement the correct strategy to transform your physique into a natural bodybuilding champion. The proper diet, exercises, and lifestyle choices are critical. The 2020 Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) Women’s Physique Natural Olympia champion, Tiffany Stosich, shared the strategies that transformed her physique into a natural bodybuilding champion.

Tiffany Stosich recently uploaded an Instagram post on October 13, 2022, comparing her physique from 2016 to 2020. She went from 148 pounds to 127 pounds and shared how she did it. Stosich stated:

“Throwback Thursday 2016 vs 2020! 148 pounds vs 127 pounds and right before I won the natural Olympia with @inbapnbaglobal_official. This did not happen over night or in a linear fashion. Weight went up and down through many preps and off seasons. I actually got back up to pretty much my starting weight (second slide 148 vs 147) during Covid because I was going through a bulk before cutting for the natural Olympia. My body composition had changed a lot even though I was at the same weight! Some important points with bodybuilding and going through preps:

1. Patience

2. Scale isn’t the best way to measure progress

3. Consistency

4. Hitting your macros

5. Progressive overload

6. Sleep and recovery

7. Stress management

8. Don’t over use caffeine and other medications such as adderol your body will become overly stressed

9. Stress management

10. More isn’t always better listen to your body”

Body Composition Vs. Weight

On the second slide of Stosich’s photos, she compared her physique in 2016 to 2020 at the same weight after bulking up her physique before cutting for Natural Olympia. Although she’s the same weight (147-148 pounds), her body composition is drastically different–she has more muscle mass and less body fat

One of the essential points Tiffany Stosich pointed out that played a part in her transformation was that the scale isn’t the best way to measure your progress. The reason being is that your weight and body composition aren’t one of the same. Your weight is how much you weigh, of course. But it’s not considering how much lean muscle mass you have.

Your body holds a percentage of fat that could be higher or lower at the same weight. The amount of muscle mass and body fat you have is your body composition. For instance, Tiffany Stosich’s body composition improved over her 4-year transformation even though her weight was the same after bulking.

Your weight does matter to a point. For example, if you’re obese and need to lose weight for your health, your weight is an excellent metric to track as you start to lose weight. But you’ll eventually reach a point where your body composition becomes more important once you’ve lost enough weight.

When trying to improve your physique, it’s more important to focus on your body composition than your weight. So look at how you look and feel and your body fat rather than solely focusing on the scale when trying to transform your physique.
