Using weightlifting shoes
While this is not a true sin, you have to realize that weightlifting shoes are just medication for a problem. When many people do squats they realize they don’t have the range of motion to get down deep without their heels leaving the floor. While lifting shoes seem like a sensible solution they can become a crutch for a deeper underlying problem. Try to slowly ween yourself off of them by slowly expanding your range of motion. Try ankle stretches or even yoga (downward dog does wonders, even if I hate to admit it).
