Fan Question: Will Getting Bigger Make Your Private Parts Look Smaller?
The episode opened with a lighthearted fan question from a bodybuilder concerned that his rapid muscle gains might make his private parts appear smaller.
The fan explained that after lifting heavy throughout the year, he had doubled the size of his legs while adding significant mass to his upper body. His concern was simple: if he continued growing, would his “junk” start looking smaller?
Victor Martinez immediately broke the ice with a joke.
“It doesn’t make sense if your junk is already big, man.”
After the laughs, Victor explained that the issue comes down entirely to perspective.
As the rest of the body grows larger, proportions naturally change. While larger thighs, bigger glutes, and a thicker torso may create the illusion that everything else appears smaller, the actual size of a person’s private parts does not change simply because they build more muscle.
Victor emphasized that confidence should not be based on comparisons.
If everything functions properly and is enough “to do the job,” then there is no reason to let appearance become an unnecessary concern.
Continuing the conversation with his trademark humor, Victor jokingly suggested that anyone truly worried about proportions should date petite women.
According to Victor, finding a very small partner would naturally make the comparison more favorable.
While the joke drew laughs, his overall point remained serious: bodybuilders should never allow insecurities over appearance to interfere with their progress in the gym. The goal should remain improving overall health, strength, and physique rather than obsessing over visual comparisons.

Victor Martinez Reacts to the Growing Trend of DDL Injections
One of the biggest discussions on the podcast centered around the increasing popularity of so-called DDL injections, often referred to online as the Dominican Dick Lift.
The hosts discussed how the treatment resembles cosmetic fillers or Botox, except applied to one of the most sensitive parts of the body.
Victor Martinez made it clear that he sees very little upside. According to him, every cosmetic injection carries some level of risk. Poor technique, infection, or complications can occur with any injectable procedure. When dealing with such a sensitive area, Victor believes the potential consequences far outweigh any cosmetic benefit.
His advice was straightforward. Why gamble with something so important simply to satisfy an insecurity?
The conversation expanded beyond DDL procedures into cosmetic enhancement as a whole. Victor argued that many elective cosmetic procedures are fueled by insecurity rather than necessity. Whether it’s breast implants, Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs), ab implants, or newer procedures like DDL injections, he believes many clinics profit by convincing people they need to “fix” something about themselves.
Rather than solving confidence issues, Victor suggested these procedures often become forms of compensation for deeper insecurities.
While acknowledging that everyone has the right to make their own decisions, he questioned whether many of these cosmetic trends actually improve happiness in the long run.
Breon Ansley Continues His Transition Away From Classic Physique
The podcast also covered Breon Ansley’s latest physique update as the former Classic Physique champion continues preparing for the 212 division (with even some rumors that he may go beyond into the Men’s Open division) under new coach Francisco Jose Espin.
The hosts agreed that Breon’s passion for bodybuilding has never been in doubt.
After years of competing under Classic Physique weight restrictions, Breon now has the opportunity to fully develop his frame without worrying about making a specific weight limit.
Victor believes Breon clearly felt restricted by the Classic Physique rules.
Now competing in Open Bodybuilding, Breon can pursue additional muscle mass that better matches his structure and potentially become far more competitive against larger athletes.
However, Victor also expressed concern over the realities of making that transition at 45 years old. Adding substantial muscle mass at that stage of life is much different than doing so in one’s twenties or thirties.
Professional bodybuilding often requires aggressive approaches to muscle growth, including significant anabolic steroid use. Victor cautioned that these protocols become increasingly risky with age.
While he understands Breon’s desire to continue progressing, Victor generally does not recommend heavy steroid use for athletes approaching their fifties due to the increased health risks involved.
His hope is that Breon and his coaching team pursue growth carefully without sacrificing long-term health.
Jay Cutler Says He Feels Better at 52 Than He Did at 22
The podcast also examined recent comments from four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, who stated that he actually feels better at 52 years old than he did at 22.
Victor Martinez said he completely understands why Jay would feel that way. Although Jay is no longer competing professionally, he continues training consistently while maintaining an impressive physique.
The major difference is that he no longer has to subject his body to the extreme demands required to become Mr. Olympia.
Victor explained that elite bodybuilding involves constant stress. Competitors spend years force-feeding enormous amounts of food to meet calorie goals, pushing maximal weights in the gym, and using aggressive performance-enhancing drug protocols to maximize muscle growth.
Those demands place tremendous strain on the body.
Today, Jay can still enjoy training and maintain excellent conditioning without constantly chasing more size. He no longer has to eat beyond comfort, endure the pressure of competition, or push pharmaceutical use to championship levels.
Victor believes this lifestyle is naturally healthier than what Jay experienced during the peak of his competitive career.
The discussion also reinforced a reality that many bodybuilding fans sometimes overlook. Being one of the best bodybuilders in the world does not necessarily mean living the healthiest lifestyle. Elite bodybuilding often requires pushing the body beyond what would generally be considered healthy in pursuit of competitive success.
Victor Martinez Shares His Natural Solution for Bodybuilding Constipation
During the conversation about Jay Cutler’s career, Victor Martinez made an interesting aside regarding one of the less glamorous realities of competitive bodybuilding: constipation.
Victor explained that digestive issues become surprisingly common during intense bodybuilding phases, especially when athletes consume massive amounts of food while preparing for competition.
Instead of turning to laxatives, Victor always preferred natural remedies.
His go-to options included eating prunes or increasing vitamin C intake to help stimulate regular digestion.
He advised against relying on laxatives because they often create additional digestive problems instead of solving the root issue.
For Victor, natural dietary adjustments have always been the better long-term solution when dealing with constipation during bodybuilding prep.
Wrap Up
This week’s Generation Iron Podcast combined comedy, bodybuilding education, and honest discussion in a way longtime fans have come to expect.
Victor Martinez addressed a humorous fan concern about muscle growth and body proportions, offered a strong warning against the growing popularity of DDL injections, and shared thoughtful perspectives on both Breon Ansley’s ambitious move to Open Bodybuilding and Jay Cutler’s healthier life after retirement.
Throughout every topic, Victor returned to one consistent message: confidence should come from hard work, not cosmetic shortcuts. Whether discussing body image, competitive bodybuilding, or aging as an athlete, he emphasized making decisions that support long-term health while continuing to pursue personal goals in the gym.
