Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA Shares Methods to Stay in Shape on Tour

RZA has found the secrets to staying ripped while on tour.

RZA, who’s real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, has made waves as a member of Wu-Tang Clan. While helping the group reach its highest level of success, RZA has also maintained a strong level of fitness to keep himself in great shape while on tour.

In May, Diggs took Men’s Health on a tour during his workout at Granite Gym in Beverly Hills. RZA, who was joined by his trainer Grant Roberts, hit a biceps and triceps workout to pump up his arms.

Wu-Tang Clan has reunited for a three-month tour beginning in July. It will feature 27 shows and is title the Final Chamber Farewell tour. In August, RZA will reprise his role as Harry Mansell in Nobody 2. This has provided extra motivation to hit the gym hard.

“If I have a reason to do it, I could work out twice a day. I’m more of a creature of demand.”

RZA Shares Arm Workout

Diggs began his arm day with sets of curls followed by triceps to end it:

  • Cable Curls – 3 sets, 15 reps
  • Dumbbell Curl/Hammer Curl Superset – 3 sets, 8 reps each
  • Peak Curls – 3 sets, 15 reps
  • Dips – 3 sets
  • Tricep Pressdowns – 3 sets
  • Skullcrushers – 3 sets

RZA has watched Method Man and his physique transformation. This has provided other motivation in the gym as well.

“It’s like a brotherly challenge. I’m not gonna let his biceps pop and mine don’t have something to say.”

Diggs also discussed a workout that he is able to hit on tour that needs just one chair to perform:

  • Chair Dips
  • Pushups
  • Crunches

Method Man Attacks High-Rep Workout

At 52 years old, Method Man has found a love for the gym and is building an impressive physique. He has also started a sportswear fashion brand called Tical Athletics. He has promoted the brand’s clothes and supplements on social media showing off his lifts.

On the Tical Athletics Instagram account, Smith Jr. was seen taking on a high-rep workout. It began with dumbbell shoulder presses, where he completed 10 sets of 10.
