2023 Arnold Classic Men’s Physique Prejudging Report & Analysis

Highlights from the 2023 Arnold Classic Men’s Physique prejudging.

The prejudging for the 2023 Arnold Classic concluded on Saturday morning with the Men’s Physique division. Erin Banks was back on stage to defend his title from last year and headlined the group in the first callout.

Banks was put in the middle of the stage so others could be compared with the champion. Banks was also victorious at the Olympia, completing the sweep of both competitions in 2022.

In the first callout, Banks was joined by Diogo Montenegro, Carlos DeOliveira, Emanual Hunter, and Vitor Chaves. This is likely the be the top five come the finals on Saturday night but it will be quite the challenge to dethrone Banks.

The final four competitors were brought back out in the second callout. The judges seemed to call out the top two in the third, which was Montenegro and Banks. Montenegro displayed an impressive physique and was able to compare with Banks alone on stage.

At the Olympia, Banks was able to take down Brandon Hendrickson. There is a clear-cut top in Men’s Physique to this point. Below, check out the full breakdown of the prejudging for the Men’s Physique division at the 2023 Arnold Classic!
