2023 Arnold Classic Wellness Results

Kassandra Gillis

Kassandra Gillis wins Wellness at the 2023 Arnold Classic!

The 2023 Arnold Classic was the second show of its kind where the Wellness was present. With reigning champion Isabelle Nunes off the roster, there was going to be a new champion crowned. In the end, it was Kassandra Gillis who reigned surpreme!

Gillis stood out during prejudging and was able to make an immediate impression. She followed it up with a strong performance during the final routine on Friday night. The Wellness division is continuing to grow and Gillis has been one of the top competitors over the last two years. Now, she has an Arnold Classic title to add to her resume.

Gillis battled with Angela Borges on stage from the morning session. Borges finished as the runner-up, followed by Rayane Fogal in third place. During the Olympia, Gillis came up short against Borges but was able to jump her using her own fitness plan to prepare for the show.

This makes for an interesting development for the Olympia. With Gillis at the top of Wellness during the Arnold Classic, it adds another angle when all competitors take the stage together under the brightest lights. After this victory, Gillis should be confident that she can win the Olympia in December.
