2023 Europa Pro Championships Preview & Full Competitor List

Here is a preview of the 2023 Europa Pro Championships!

The 2023 Europa Pro Championships will take place on Sunday in Alicante, Spain. All 10 divisions in bodybuilding will be on display with the winners earning a spot in the 2023 Olympia. As usual, the Men’s Open division is stacked and will headline the show.

The battle between Nathan De Asha and Regan Grimes will be on display once again. During the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro, De Asha punched his ticket to the Olympia and they will both return to the stage. Grimes will look to put on a championship performance to get revenge on stage.

Below, check out a full breakdown of the Men’s Open division, along with full rosters from the entire show.

Nathan De Asha

De Asha was crowned champion of the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro and will look to make it two in a row here.

He put together a strong year in 2021, winning the 2021 Europa Pro Championships. He followed that up with victories at the 2021 Arnold Classic UK and Yamamoto Cup. After his latest victory, there were injury issues that kept De Asha out of competitions. De Asha was preparing to return to the Arnold Classic in 2022 but suffered a bicep injury that forced him to pull out of the competition.

Regan Grimes

Grimes returned to the stage last weekend for the first time since the 2022 Boston Pro. This was his second seventh-place finish of the year, to go along with the Arnold Classic. He finished as the runner-up and will be looking to punch his ticket to the biggest show of the year. Grimes has been hard at work making improvements to his overall size and conditioning in preparation to return to the stage.

Roman Fritz

Fritz also impressed on the stage in Italy last weekend and finished third, behind just De Asha and Grimes. Fritz is looking to log his first appearance on the Olympia stage. If he comes in at his best, he could compete for the top spot once again.

Theo Leguerrier

Leguerrier will return to this show as the reigning champion from 2022. He did not fair well at the Olympia, falling outside of the Top 15. Leguerrier competed in seven shows last season and is active once again in 2023. He is looking to compete well during a show that he knows how to win and punch his ticket once again.
