Who will come out on top at the Prague Pro on Sunday?
The 2024 EVLS Prague Pro will take place on Sunday in Prague, Czech Republic. This has become one of the biggest shows on the schedule post-Olympia. This year, there will be more eyes on it than ever with a loaded, and star-studded, group taking the stage in Open Bodybuilding.
The main event will be headlined with Chris Bumstead making his debut in Men’s Open. He announced his retirement from competition following his sixth consecutive Classic Physique title at the 2024 Olympia. He has claimed in recent years that he would consider an Open show if it was soon after the Olympia. This year, he landed on the Prague Pro.
Bumstead will be tested right away. Martin Fitzwater will be the favorite to win the event following a fourth-place finish at the Mr. Olympia. Shaun Clarida will also return to Men’s Open after competing in 212.
Below, take a look at the full rosters for the event and the main competitors to watch in Men’s Open.

Chris Bumstead
Bumstead has not competed at a professional show in the biggest division. He has appeared in amateur shows years ago but this will be a major step up in competition. Bumstead rose to the top of Classic Physique in 2019 and did not relinquish the title until he announced his retirement. Bumstead has been open about his prospects heading into Prague, claiming he does not believe he will win, but if he does, he will punch his ticket to the 2025 Olympia.

Would Chris Bumstead consider returning to the Olympia in Open? He did not commit to anything but also did not completely rule it out during a recent interview. Bumstead has created arguably the biggest profile in bodybuilding off stage as well. Fans will be excited to see his performance in Men’s Open this weekend.

Martin Fitzwater
Fitzwater has quickly become one of the top competitors in the world. He impressed during his appearance at the 2024 New York Pro, going head-to-head with Nick Walker. Many believe that he did enough to win the show but finished as the runner-up. Fitzwater prepared for the Olympia and jumped into the top five.
Fitzwater competed with the likes of Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan and narrowly landed in the top three. He finished fourth at the biggest event in the world and will look to qualify for 2025 early on.

Shaun Clarida
This will not be Clarida’s first appearance in Men’s Open. He was victorious during the 2021 Legion Sports Fest Pro and qualified for the Olympia that year. Clarida chose to remain in Men’s 212 in hopes of regaining his title. He returned to Open during the 2023 Arnold Classic, where he placed fifth.
Clarida has finished as the runner-up to Keone Pearson in each of the last two Olympia competitions in 212. This will be the first time Clarida will take the stage with the likes of Fitzwater and Bumstead.
