Get in Those Carbs
Energy is a must when it comes to physical exertion and bodybuilding is no different. You can easily burn yourself out if you don’t have enough carbs in your diet before your workout. But when it comes to cutting down and getting lean, it’s not a bad idea to cut the carb intake to a minimum and opt for a ketogenic (protein and fat) approach to dieting. A low sodium diet, protein and fat, and drinking a fair amount of water can flush the water weight out of your system.
