Brandon Harding will be shut down for the remainder of 2024.
Brandon Harding is one of the up-and-coming stars in Classic Physique. After earning his Pro Card, Harding was preparing to make his professional debut but suffered a torn shoulder that will shut him down for the remainder of 2024.
Harding has risen extremely quick at the NPC level. In 2024, he earned his Pro Card and was prepared to make an impact against the best competitors in the world. On Thursday, Harding shared a post explaining that he tore his shoulder “off the bone” and will require further tests.
“Prep is over. Got the MRI report and I’ve literally torn part of my shoulder off the bone, leaving minor bone damage. I don’t have much to say right now. I might need surgery, but I’ll know after speaking to a surgeon.”

It is unknown if Harding will require surgery at this point but will be shut down for the remainder of the 2024 season.
Brandon Harding Reveals Shoulder Injury
Brandon Harding has kept his fans updated on the injury since it happened just a few days ago. Now, he will wait to speak to a surgeon to find out what is needed moving forward.
“Just moments before it all went wrong. It would be an understatement to say I’m heartbroken, especially looking at these pictures just 13 days out. This is the best I’ve ever looked and all I’ve been working towards for over 18 months, but fate had a different plan for me.”

The Classic Physique division continues to grow. It has been dominated by five-time Olympia champion Chris Bumstead. He has become one of the biggest bodybuilders in the world, both on and off the stage. Competitors have been unable to dethrone Bumstead but there are many contenders heading into the 2024 Olympia.
Ramon Rocha Queiroz finished as the runner-up to Bumstead in each of the last two Olympia competitions. Urs Kalecinski solidified his position in the top three as well but during the 2024 Arnold Classic, there was a new competitor thrown into the mix. Wesley Vissers defeated both Ramon Dino and Kalecinski in Columbus, making the division even deeper this year.
Brandon Harding will work to recover and quickly insert his name into the Classic Physique division as well. At his age, there is time for Harding to make a full recovery and become the star that fans are expecting.
