Bumstead won his first Olympia title back in 2019 by defeating Breon Ansley. He has not relinquished the title since and is looking to secure his sixth consecutive Classic Physique title. He will enter the Olympia in one month as the favorite once again but will be challenged by other top-tier competitors.

The Classic Physique division keeps improving in talent. Urs Kalecinski remains in contention for a title come October, along with Ramon Dino. Wesley Vissers also inserted his name into the mix by making major improvements this year and winning the 2024 Arnold Classic.

Chris Bumstead’s Full Day Of Eating

This full day of eating for Chris Bumstead consisted of five meals where he squeezed in 2,806 calories, 320 grams of protein, and 204 grams of carbs.

Meal 1

The first meal of the day was Bumstead’s largest. He added in protein with his oats to get more benefits after his long fast.

  • 150g hashbrowns
  • 40g oats
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 scoop protein powder

“This is my biggest meal of the day for sure. I break my fast with this. I haven’t eaten in 13 hours almost.”

Meal 2

The second meal consists of white rice on the side instead of shredded lettuce, which Bumstead previously used often in his meals.

  • 200g wild alaskan cod
  • 200g white rice
  • Asparagus

“I am going to say that I’m very sad. I used to eat shredded lettuce to get shredded and I’ve been eating lettuce lately and it makes me super bloated lately.”

Meal 3

The third meal of the day came around the time of his workout. Bumstead explained how his methods are not super complicated.

  • 200g cod
  • 200g white rice
  • Asparagus
  • Siracha sauce

“There’s nothing special that I do every single day. There’s nothing special about my diet, I just eat the same thing every single f*cking day for 10 years and that is what it is. That’s why these full day of eatings are so boring.”

Supplement Stack

  • BUM Pre-workout
  • 1 scoop Pump
  • Cognism
  • Alha GPC

Meal 4

The fourth meal of the day added some convenience for Chris Bumstead. He used sweet potatoes because they can be done in many different ways.

  • 200g chicken
  • 150g mashed sweet potatoes
  • Asparagus

“Just throw a full sweet potato in the oven, pull out all the mash, and put it into Tupperware so it’s easier to eat. Potatoes are one of the harder things to eat because you can cook them in different ways.”

Meal 5

The final meal of the day was the “weird” one for Bumstead that did not consist of many calories.

  • Cold chicken
  • Pickles

“This might be the part of prep where I start doing weird sh*t. Good crunchy dill pickles, kosher of course, because there’s zero calories and chicken that’s cold. I don’t know why, it just tastes good.”
