“Looking at him now, he has the best condition in pictures that I’ve seen of any of the guys leading up to the contest, including Derek, Nick, and all these guys.”
Krizo had to shut down attempts at qualifying for the 2024 Olympia after suffering a shoulder injury. He planned to take the stage at the EVLS Prague Probut pulled his name out of the competition after finding out that he needed surgery.
In August, it was shared that Krizo underwent successful surgery, where doctors found that he had two torn tendons for over a year. He had to take 8-12 weeks away from the gym and had his sights set on a 2025 return. Now, the calendar has turned and Krizo is working to get back into the best shape possible.

Michal Krizo has been an up-and-coming star in bodybuilding for years now. He has dealt with setbacks but is healthy and ready to show it on stage. Cutler discussed Krizo’s past performances and how he has looked on stage. He highlighted his back and hamstrings as areas that could use improvement.
“I couldn’t believe how small he got and he looks astounding. If that guy had a back and he had bigger hamstrings. Yeah, if he’s changes even a little bit, that guy is a big problem. He’s got the conditioning.”
Krizo made a full recovery from his shoulder surgery that forced him to miss time on stage. Following his surgery, Cutler believes that Krizo’s transformation will open eyes in Pittsburgh.
“Krizo, we don’t know how he looks. That transformation might be the biggest transformation of the year. I mean, they showed him small when he had his surgery.”
It’s just nine weeks away from the Pittsburgh Pro, and Michal Krizo feels good going into it. “I think I am in pretty good shape already at nine weeks out,” says Michal Krizo. However, he will face elite competitors like Nick Walker and Martin Fitzwater on May 10 and 11th for a chance to qualify for the 2025 Mr. Olympia.
