Jeremy Buendia is planning to begin his final year with his first appearance at the Arnold Classic.
Jeremy Buendia is planning his return for 2025. The Men’s Physique competitor shared a video on YouTube sharing that he has started prep and plans to compete at the Arnold Classic come March.
“This will be the first time ever doing the Arnold Classic.”

Buendia is one of the most successful Men’s Physique bodybuilders of all time. He dominated his Mr. Olympia category from 2014 to 2017. He took a hiatus from competition following his appearance at the 2018 Olympia but made his return to the stage last year. Buendia finished eighth in Men’s Physique during the 2023 Olympia.
Buendia has not competed at the Arnold in his career and has applied to take the stage in Columbus for the first time.
“This is actually the beginning of prep for me. The goal is the Arnold Classic. That’s the goal. You’re hearing it here first. I’m going to apply for the Arnold Classic. Hopefully they accept me and get me on the stage.”
Jeremy Buendia: “This Is A Very Good Chance This Is The Last Year”
Jeremy Buendia has put together an impressive career and is working to make one final return to the competitive stage. After sculpting his physique for 2025, there is a “good chance” that Buendia decides to call it a career.
“This is a very good chance this will be the last year I compete and make the most out of it. I’m going to put on a show for you, got to come in 100% on stage. I got to do it at least once in my career.”

Buendia is not competing at the 2024 Olympia after making an appearance at the event last year. Now, his plan is to bring the best physique possible to the Arnold Classic.
“You know I’ve never been my absolute best and that’s what we’re shooting for. We’re going to end this bodybuilding career strong.”
