Nick Walker still believes he can win the 2024 Olympia if he makes these changes.
Pro bodybuilder Nick Walker has been working to improve this year after his winning performance at the 2024 New York Pro. Despite a victory, there was criticisms surrounding Walker’s physique. He has heard the comments and spoke on them at different times this summer. In this post, we detail how Walker is focusing on making physique improvements, both mentally and physically, to win the 2024 Olympia.

Walker was victorious during the New York Pro, which was his second career win during this event. He is now qualified for the Olympia and plans to bring his best package yet. All eyes will be on Nick Walker as he prepares for the 2024 Olympia. He believe that he would have been a contender in 2023 but suffered a hamstring injury that kept him off stage.
During a recent Q&A on YouTube, Walker opened up about his mentality and fighting to get the passion back for competing.
“Mentally, I think my points I want to do is, I think I just want to get back to the old me and who I was and getting back to enjoying bodybuilding again.”
Nick Walker Talks Improved Conditioning This Offseason
Nick Walker quickly turned into one of the biggest competitors in Men’s Open. He recently spoke on social media and its role in the relationship between bodybuilders compared to the 90s. During this session, he brought social media back into the conversation.
“I think I lost that for a long time because I would say, back when I started competing, I had a good childlike passion for bodybuilding and I think once my name started getting super well-known and I started winning and I became something big on social media quote unquote, I would say I forgot who I was.”

Along with the mental side of the competition, Nick Walker talked improvements needed within his physique. He highlighted his chest, legs, and midsection.
“The Arnold conditioning that I had with my Olympia of 2022 fullness with a bigger, thicker, detailed back. A more filled-out chest and more quad sweep to my legs. Present a tighter core, which I think all those are happening and I think I’m achieving all that right now.”
Walker has shown a fire on stage and an incredible will to win. He was disappointed when he was forced to miss the Olympia last year and is determined to bring his best and win here in 2024.
“The end goal was to win and for me, there’s noting to be proud of. I’m a winner. I’ve always been a winner and that’s something I will teach anybody. If you lose, yeah sure, you gave it all but you failed. Now, you got to come back better.”
