Ronnie Coleman shared advice with different bodybuilders for the 2025 Olympia.
There have only been three bodybuilders to win both the Arnold Classic and Olympia titles in the same calendar year. The legendary Ronnie Coleman is one of those competitors to accomplish the rare feat. He knows what it takes to have your body peak at the right time and this is why he shared advice with competitors vying for the Olympia title.

Derek Lunsford won his first Arnold Classic title this year and inserted his name back at the top of bodybuilding. As he prepares for the Olympia, Coleman is unsure if he can win his second Sandow.
“You got to pick your poison, whether you want to be an Arnold Classic champion or Olympia champion. You can win one but you’re not going to win both because, I’ve said it a million times, the body only peaks once a year.”
Lunsford’s journey to the apex of bodybuilding is both remarkable and inspiring. He first captured the Olympia 212 title, then transitioned to the Men’s Open category, clinching the title on his second attempt. Significantly, he became the first athlete to secure titles in two different divisions, marking a historic moment in the competition’s legacy.
Ronnie Coleman Talks 2025 Pittsburgh Pro & Olympia
Derek Lunsford has thrown his hat into the ring of the first-ever Pittsburgh Pro Men’s Open competition. Lunsford views the Pittsburgh Pro as one of the major shows of the year. After winning the Arnold Classic, he plans to complete the trifecta in Pittsburgh and at the Olympia at the end of the year. Despite Coleman’s doubts about Lunsford on the Olympia stage, he believes that he can peak in Pittsburgh.
“I don’t think he can do it in all three but I think he can win that show, Jim Manion’s show. I don’t see nobody coming close to him there.”
Andrew Jacked impressed with his victory at the 2025 Fibo Championships. He brought a winning championship to the stage that day but to win the big one, it all has to come together. Coleman believes that Jacked will one day be at the top but is lacking conditioning.
“You can’t rush maturity. That’s the only thing he’s lacking, maturity and conditioning. He’ll eventually get there. He looks awesome from the front but turn around from the back, he’s got to get a little bit harder and that’s just time.”
Jacked will not compete in Pittsburgh but it remains a loaded lineup with some of the top names in bodybuilding, such as Nick Walker and Martin Fitzwater.
