The 2025 Arnold Classic is just six weeks away from Columbus!
The 2025 Arnold Classic is just weeks away and fans are excited to see some of the top competitors in the world take the stage once again. Of course, it is headlined by reigning Olympia champion Samson Dauda. Recently, Dauda joined Fouad Abiad to discuss the upcoming show and make his predictions, along with Regan Grimes.

Dauda defeated both Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan, who were the last two Olympia champions, to win this year’s title. His rides to the top has been extremely quick and he wants to keep improving moving forward. Dauda is a former Arnold Classic champ and will headline the show with Lunsford.
Both Dauda and Regan Grimes made predictions ahead of the Arnold, which will feature a loaded lineup in Men’s Open.
Samson Dauda, Regan Grimes Make Arnold Classic Picks
Dauda will compete at the Arnold but still made his predictions for the finish:

- Second Place – Andrew Jacked
- Third Place – Derek Lunsford
- Fourth Place – William Bonac
- Fifth Place – Brandon Curry
- Sixth Place – James Hollingshead
- Seventh Place – Shaun Clarida
- Eighth Place – Akim Williams
- Ninth Place – Jon Delarosa
- Tenth Place – Carlos Thomas Jr.
Dauda predicts that he will win the show, which is no surprise, but he expects Andrew Jacked to jump Derek Lunsford. The 2023 Olympia champ fell to third on the scorecard and is looking to make an impact on the Arnold stage.
Regan Grimes is preparing to make his comeback during the 2025 New York Pro. Grimes made the jump from Classic Physique to Open Bodybuilding and has carried great expectations since. Grimes won the 2021 Egypt KO Pro to qualify for the 2022 Olympia but did not compete because he wanted to add more size.
Grimes returned to competition last year and earned a victory during the 2023 Europa Pro Championships. This earned him a spot in the 2023 Olympia, where he finished ninth. Grimes has been hard at work bulking up again this year with a goal of returning in 2025. He has kept up in the world of bodybuilding and also made his predictions for the Arnold:

Grimes predicts that Dauda and Lunsford will finish at the top of the scorecard. Right now, Dauda is the competitor to beat and he also knows what it takes to win in Columbus. Andrew Jacked will also compete for a top spot, along with Brandon Curry.
