The Rock showed his support for ‘The Dutch Oak’ as Vissers enters the final days of his Olympia preparation.
Wesley Vissers has picked up a pretty famous supporter ahead of the 2026 Classic Physique Olympia.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson jumped into the comments of a recent Instagram post from Vissers, offering some words of encouragement as “The Dutch Oak” closes in on his return to the Olympia stage.
“Stay the course. Pulling for you brother 💪🏾,” Johnson commented.
The message caught the attention of the bodybuilding community with Vissers now just days away from attempting to challenge reigning Classic Physique Olympia champion Ramon Dino.
Vissers has plenty of momentum of his own entering Las Vegas. He won the 2026 Arnold Classic Ohio and Detroit Pro before finishing runner-up to Mike Sommerfeld at the Arnold Classic UK. His improvements, particularly in his legs and overall conditioning, have made him one of the more intriguing athletes in a loaded Classic Physique lineup.
The Rock Is Pulling For Wesley Vissers
Johnson has one of the most recognizable physiques in entertainment and has maintained close ties to the fitness world throughout his career. His public support adds another interesting layer to Vissers’ final days of Olympia prep.
The comment came after Vissers shared an update following an in-person check-in with coach Stefan Kienzl.
“My coach saw me in person for the first time this prep. To me @bossofoutlaw feedback decides the plan forward and his honesty is always second to none. Six days out 🙏 Full check-in is on the tube!” Vissers wrote.
According to FaziFitness, Kienzl was pleased enough with Vissers’ condition that there was little reason to make significant changes heading into the final stretch.
That could be encouraging news considering conditioning and muscle detail have become two of the biggest talking points surrounding Vissers this year.
Vissers Looking To Make A Major Olympia Jump
Vissers last competed at the 2024 Olympia, where he finished eighth. Since then, he has worked extensively to improve the balance of his physique, with particular attention paid to bringing more size and fullness to his legs.
Those changes have already paid dividends in 2026.
Vissers has also been receiving praise from some prominent bodybuilding names. Milos Sarcev recently called his conditioning “off the charts” and described Vissers as a legitimate contender for the Classic Physique Olympia title.
The competition remains stacked. Ramon Dino enters as the defending champion, while Sommerfeld, Terrence Ruffin and several other elite contenders will be looking to challenge for the crown.
Whether Vissers can make the jump into the first callout remains to be seen, but his physique has clearly caught the attention of people well beyond the bodybuilding world.

The 2026 Classic Physique Olympia prejudging and finals are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25 in Las Vegas.
