Hailing from Milton, Ontario, Canada, Kyle Landi realized his passion for fitness at a young age. He joined a gym for the first time when he was 12 and was able to take his goals to the next level. Now, the 24-year-old continues to improve and will take the competitive stage for the first time.

Landi has also trained with and collaborated with some big names in fitness. This includes Larry Wheels, Tristyn Lee, and NDO Champ, who worked on bench press with Landi. Also, Landi has met some of his favorite bodybuilders such as Ronnie Coleman, Breon Ansley, and Flex Wheeler.

Kyle Landi has taken the stage many times as a guest poser and has even gotten the chance to stand next to some of his favorite competitors.

Landi’s journey into bodybuilding started with a fundamental principle instilled by his parents – the refusal to treat him differently due to his down syndrome. From a young age, Kyle was raised with the same responsibilities and opportunities as his siblings, defying societal expectations that often underestimate individuals with disabilities.

The Muscle Beach Championships will be the first time Kyle Landi takes the stage competitively. The Muscle Beach Championship is one of three summer competitions Joe Wheatley has promoted since 2000, the other two being the Muscle Beach Int’l Classic on Memorial Day, and the Mr. and Ms. Muscle Beach contest held on July 4th.

He has worked with the original format of the shows and partnered with City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks. Competitors come from all over the world to take part in a show that continues to grow with many divisions including Teen, Figure, Bikini, Men’s Physique, Classic Physique, and many more.

Wheatley has organized plenty of media coverage over the years as well as he continues to support health and fitness. This includes the bodybuilding shows being featured on the Travel Channel while all major networks in the Los Angeles area provide television coverage.

The bodybuilding show is the highlight of the weekend but there is plenty of other attractions, including a Fitness Expo with vendors from different industries.
