Wheels made his initial push for his Pro Card in 2023. He finished as the runner-up at the Amateur Olympia and came close to accomplishing his final goal. Wheels was on his way to becoming a pro but announced that he would be ending his time as a bodybuilder after a relapse on steroids. Shortly after, he returned to bodybuilding and earned his Pro Card during the 2025 Musclecontest Bullman Pro Qualifier in May.
Sulek earned his Pro Card after a victory at the 2025 Arnold Amateur. Sulek competed at the 2025 Legends Classic in Las Vegas with hopes of punching his ticket to Columbus. He finished first overall in the Classic Physique division at the NPC show and earned qualification for the Arnold Amateur.

Larry Wheels & Sam Sulek Chest Workout
The duo hit a workout featuring seven different exercises before posing:
- Seated Chest Press Machine
- Incline Fly Machine
- Vertical Chest Press Machine
- Pec Deck Flyes
- Flat Press Machine
- Standing Cable Flyes
- Single-Arm Tricep Extensions
Over the course of the workout, Sam Sulek discussed the importance of warming up. This helps keep momentum over the course of the workout and build muscle as a whole.
“Your chest is ready. It doesn’t know if you’re doing a press or a fly. It knows it is warm, it is loaded, if you know you can handle it, just don’t lose momentum.”
For Larry Wheels, going from a powerlifter to a bodybuilder was a big change. This included a change in mindset but also technique training in the gym.
“I had to adjust my technique dramatically to be able to emphasize hitting my quads, whereas squatting as a powerlifter, I have a very wide stance.”
The duo took on pec decks toward the end of the workout. This added a different challenge to the movement that is not typically present.
“Usually pec decks are not humbling. I don’t remember the last pec deck I said ‘whoa, half the stack.'”
Sam Sulek and Larry Wheels continue to be two of the biggest names in the fitness world. If they take the stage together at some point, this would draw major attention from the bodybuilding world.
