Martin Fitzwater won his second straight title in Prague by stunning Samson Dauda.
Martin Fitzwater has quickly become one of the top bodybuilders on the planet. After another strong performance at the Olympia, Fitzwater quickly took the stage once again during the EVLS Prague Pro. He won his second consecutive title, defeating Samson Dauda in the process.
After his victory, Fitzwater shared his confidence in an interview.
“It was the most cool, calm, and composed I’ve ever been on stage. I also know the physique I’m bringing now is something very, very dangerous. Anyone is going to have to be at their best to beat me.”
Fitzwater continues to improve each time he takes the stage. Many believed that he brought his best to the 2024 Olympia and was able to make a big jump into the top four. He began a busy 2025 season by competing against a stacked lineup in the Pittsburgh Pro, where he finished third.
During the 2025 Olympia, Fitzwater returned to the top four but remained behind Dauda. He got his rematch in Prague and Fitzwater earned a surprise victory over the former Olympia champion. This marked his second consecutive victory during the Prague Pro. In 2024, Fitzwater officially punched his ticket to the Olympia competition after defeating the likes of Chris Bumstead and Shaun Clarida at the EVLS Prague Pro.

Martin Fitzwater Talks Confidence During 2025 Season
As time has gone on, Martin Fitzwater has looked better and better on stage. This has led to renewed confidence in his physique, which has ultimately led to better finishes.
“Something I really worked on in the last year is being comfortable, being confident, and knowing that no matter where the judges move me, that I’m still in the running for the win.”
Martin Fitzwater has been very open about his bodybuilding journey over the years. This includes sharing multiple workouts, diet plans, and even financial budget. He has let fans into what it takes to be a bodybuilder — both physically and financially.
In February, Fitzwater shared is steroid cycle for the 2025 season. During this interview, he shared that it has been the biggest he has ever been. Fitzwater shared that in January, he was at 269 pounds and was continuing to work on adding size. This is the most comfortable he’s been with his physique at this size and believes he can compete with anyone after his finish at the Olympia.
“Just test and EQ again. About 700 of both a little GH, running six IUs right now, and that’s it.”
Fitzwater is now qualified for the 2026 Olympia and will be in contention to finish in the top three. He has been a consistent top four finisher over the last two years and there is every reason to believe that he will take it to the next level after earning his qualification. Derek Lunsford was able to win his second Olympia title, becoming the second bodybuilder of all-time to lose the title and regain it. He joins Jay Cutler on the short list.
Martin Fitzwater got a look at Lunsford twice this year and knows what he has to improve upon to compete with the best in the world.
