Michal Krizo is preparing to take the stage at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro.
Bodybuilder Michal Krizo is back in the gym following an injury that caused him to take time away from training. It also forced the Men’s Open competitor to miss shows that he planned on being apart of but now, the comeback trail is on. Krizo recently shared a shoulder and tricep workout as he prepares for the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro.
“There’s the Pittsburgh show, New York Pro, and Dubai Pro. These shows, I have planned. It’s basically that I plan on doing the Dubai and my sponsors plan on me doing the Pittsburgh and New York.”

Krizo had to shut down attempts at qualifying for the 2024 Olympia after suffering a shoulder injury. He planned to take the stage at the EVLS Prague Pro but pulled his name out of the competition after finding out that he needed surgery.
In August, it was shared that Krizo underwent successful surgery, where doctors found that he had two torn tendons for over a year. He had to take 8-12 weeks away from the gym and had his sights set on a 2025 return. Now, the calendar has turned and Krizo is working to get back into the best shape possible.
Michal Krizo’s Shoulder & Tricep Workout
This particular workout consisted of eight movements that Michal Krizo used to train the muscles:
- Flat Dumbbell Bench Press
- Standing Dumbbell Lateral Raise
- Machine Shoulder Press
- Reverse Pec Fly
- Barbell Upright Row
- Rope Triceps Pushdown
- Seated Dip Machine
- Single-Arm Crossbody Tricep Extensions
Michal Krizo made a jump into the Top 10 during the 2023 Olympia and could improve further in 2025. He has been one of the up-and-coming stars in Men’s Open since his arrival in the division. After his recovery from surgery, he is back training in the gym and focused on bulking up for one more week.
“More like quality bulking. So I don’t look like crap before starting the diet. Now with the diet, we’ll see how shredded I get, how much weight I ended up with. I might even gain some muscle still.”
Krizo is preparing for Pittsburgh and is about 13 weeks out at this point. He will wait one more week to begin his prep at 12 weeks after adding some extra weight.
“We’ll see what the physiques gonna look like once I start my prep. I might do one more week of this regime and starting next Monday, I’d get it going.”
