Bodybuilder Nick Walker does not lack confidence in his ability on stage. He is qualified for the 2025 Olympia and plans to compete for the title. Recently, Walker shared his thoughts on where he might finish. While he usually predicts a victory, he dialed it back slightly and said he will be in the top three.
“We got the Olympia to battle for. I know I always say I’m going to win but I won’t say it. I’ll be in the top three. Where in that top three? We’ll wait and see.”
Walker missed the 2023 Olympia as he dealt with a torn hamstring that impacted his preparation for the show. He ended up making his return during the New York Pro and was crowned champion, despite controversy surrounding the final results. He later announced that he would miss the 2024 Olympia as well. Now, his sights are set on the 2025 Olympia after winning his third New York Pro.

Nick Walker Confident Heading into 2025 Olympia

Walker had the chance to go up against the other top competitors in the world during the Pittsburgh Pro in May. He finished as the runner-up to Derek Lunsford but believes he won the matchup. This have him confidence heading into the Olympia. Following the show, Nick Walker discussed the matchup.
“I’m never a sore loser. If I know I lost, I accept it, I roll with it, I lost. The way it just went and the way I just dominated and the way I think I pretty much think I beat Derek in all the poses, I thought there was no way I was losing tonight…When they called his name for first, I didn’t think there was anything more I could have done. I felt this sense or anger and disappointment.”
The 2025 Olympia will feature multiple competitors who could win the Sandow. Walker is now in the mix after missing the show each of the last two years. After the Pittsburgh Pro, Walker believes that his biggest threat is Hadi Choopan.
“I’m always going to say Hadi. I think me and Hadi are extremely comparable in every way shape or form. I think if he comes in at 100% and I’m in at 100%, it’s going to be a battle.”
