During a recent appearance with David DeMesquita, Walker made his predictions of who will finish at the top of the Olympia scorecard.
Walker missed the 2023 Olympia as he dealt with a torn hamstring that impacted his preparation for the show. He ended up making his return during the New York Pro and was crowned champion, despite controversy surrounding the final results. He later announced that he would miss the 2024 Olympia as well. Now, his sights are set on the 2025 Olympia after winning his third New York Pro.

Nick Walker’s Top 5 Olympia Picks
There were many familiar faces in Nick Walker’s top-five predictions, which he made without placing them:
- Nick Walker
- Hadi Choopan
- Samson Dauda
- Derek Lunsford
- Martin Fitzwater
Walker placed the last three Olympia champions back in the top five once again. The Men’s Open division continues to grow but remains top-heavy, with Andrew Jacked inserting himself into the mix as well.
Walker continued to discuss his choices with DeMesquita, who agreed with his selections. Both believe that if Fitzwater peaks at the right time, he has the chance to creep into the top three.
Walker will get another shot at Lunsford on the Olympia stage. Lunsford defeated Walker during the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro. It was a controversial finish where many believed Walker could have been crowned champion. Following the show, Lunsford commented on how he believes he did not bring his best to the stage while Walker did. After Lunsford’s comments, Walker responded.
“The dude didn’t even sound convincing. He sounded like he was scared sh*tess that he knows what’s about to happen and he just had to come up with something. He just had to say something.”
The battle between Derek Lunsford and Nick Walker is now one to watch come the end of the year. Walker has been putting in all work to get healthy and bring his best physique to the stage in order to compete for the title.
