Highlights from the 2024 Arnold Classic Men’s Physique prejudging.
The 2024 Arnold Classic continued on Saturday morning with its second season of prejudging. The Men’s Physique division took the stage for the first time. It is clear that the division is wide open heading into the finals on Saturday night.
The Arnold Classic will crown a new champion this year. Reigning champion Erin Banks is not competing this weekend, along with Olympia champ Ryan Terry. The competition features three competitors that finished in the top four during last year’s competition.
Diogo Montenegro finished as the runner-up to Banks last year and is one of the favorites this year. Emanual Hunter and Vitor Chaves also put on a good show last year.
This trio was featured in the first callout along with Kyron Holden, Correy Morris, and Vinicius Mateus Lima. Montenegro and Chaves spent time in the center for comparisons. Coming into the weekend, Montenegro was seen as one of the favorites, having finished second last year. Vinicius Mateus Lima was eventually switched into the center for a better look.
Mateus Lima and Chaves were featured in the middle once again in the third and final callout of four, along with Montenegro and Holden. The stage is set for another intense battle in Men’s Physique come Saturday night.
