The action in the Classic Physique division during the 2024 Olympia kicked off on Saturday morning. After crowning six champions on Friday night, a new set of bodybuilders prepared to take the stage to perform. The Classic Physique division is at the forefront of action as Chris Bumstead looks to earn his sixth consecutive title.

Bumstead has become one of the biggest stars in bodybuilding and leads a loaded group in Classic Physique. Ramon Rocha Queiroz returns after finishing as the runner-up to Bumstead in each of the last two years. In March, Ramon Dino finished second once again but this time, it was to Wesley Vissers during the Arnold Classic. Vissers quickly inserted his name into title contention that night.
Urs Kalecinski and former champion Breon Ansley continue to be threats as well. The prejudging for Classic Physique was as highly anticipated as any in the competition. As expected, this was the group in the first callout. Michael Daboul, Jose Manuel Munoz, and Mike Sommerfeld were also featured.
The breakout competitor during prejudging was Sommerfeld. He seemed to gain an advantage over Vissers and Ramon Dino early on. He joined Bumstead and Kalecinski in the 12th and final callout. Each competitor got a chance to pose from the center spot. Could this be the top three heading into the Saturday night finals?
