IFBB Pro Announces New Sponsorship That Will Add $210k In Prize Money To Classic Physique Division

Tyler Manion announced a sponsorship that will increase prize money for Classic Physique.

The prize money in the IFBB Pro League has increased in many divisions this year and Classic Physique is next. This is a division that continues to grow in talent and the prize money will also increase for 2024.

On Monday, IFBB Pro League Vice President Tyler Manion announced a new partnership with Newtech Strength Equipment. This sponsorship will allow a total of $210,000 to be added in prize money into the Classic Physique division this season.

“I want everybody to please welcome Newtech as the new corporate sponsor of the IFBB Pro League Classic Physique division. Because of Newtech’s sponsorship, an additional $210,000 will be added into Classic Physique prize money in 2024.”

The Classic Physique division continues to be dominated by Chris Bumstead. He won his fifth consecutive Classic Physique Olympia title in 2023 and continues to be one of the biggest names in the sport. Bumstead has been challenged by the likes of Ramon Rocha Queiroz and Urs Kalecinski over the last two years.

During the 2024 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Wesley Vissers emerged as a contender in Classic Physique by defeating Ramon Dino and winning the title.

Classic Physique Prize Money Increase Follows Trend

Just this year alone, Tyler Manion has announced different sponsorships in Men’s Open and Wellness that will increase prize money. Due to this new partnership, the league will be able to raise the minimum prize money across 21 bodybuilding shows by $10,000. This is a total of $210,000 across the bodybuilding season that will be added into the prize money fund in Men’s Open.

In Wellness, the league will be able to raise the prize money in the division by $130,000. Arnold Schwarzenegger also vowed to raise his prize money a significant amount for his show in 2025. Once the event ended with Hadi Choopan defeating Samson Dauda to win the title. Following the results, Schwarzenegger announced that the prize money would increase to $500,000 next year.

Now, the IFBB Pro League has partnered with Newtech and it is a company that is used by them personally.
