Nick Walker Oozes Confidence Ahead Of 2026 Mr. Olympia: ‘I Can’t Be Beaten’

Nick Walker says ‘I can’t be beaten… If everyone’s 100 percent, I can still win, and I f***ing will.’

Nick Walker is not interested in hearing that he needs the rest of the field to slip up to win the 2026 Mr. Olympia. “The Mutant” is heading toward bodybuilding’s biggest stage with supreme confidence, declaring during a recent appearance on Men’s Physique Radio that “I can’t be beaten.”

Nick Walker: ‘I can’t be beaten’

During the conversation, Walker was confronted with a familiar hypothetical: What happens if everybody in the Men’s Open division shows up at their absolute best?

The question is particularly interesting in Walker’s case. He has established himself among bodybuilding’s elite, but there has long been debate over what his true 100-percent package looks like.

Walker has apparently heard enough of the idea that his path to the Olympia title depends on other competitors missing the mark.

“I’m tired of just hearing everyone say, ‘If everyone’s off, Nick can win.’ No, if everyone’s 100, I can still win, and I f***ing  will.”

Walker then took his prediction another step further.

“Once I play my own game and perfect everything the judges want me to perfect, I can’t be beaten.”

When the discussion turned to people continuing to “leave the door open” for other competitors, Walker delivered perhaps the most memorable line of the interview.

“No, keep the door shut, ’cause I’m gonna smash it the F down.”

Walker Knows What He Needs To Improve

The confidence comes with an understanding that there are still details Walker needs to nail.

Elsewhere in the Men’s Physique Radio interview, Walker identified controlling and tightening his midsection as a primary objective. He also wants to show additional detail through his back and chest while keeping his legs full.

Walker believes the combination of those improvements with his trademark size and conditioning could make him extremely difficult to beat.

“I have size. No one is going to beat me in the size department,” Walker said. “I have condition. Someone might tie me in that, good luck, but it is what it is. As long as I control my midsection, again, I can’t be beat.”

That midsection could prove particularly important. Walker possesses some of the most overwhelming muscularity in the entire Open division. Presentation, shape and maintaining control between poses become increasingly important when the margins separating Olympia contenders are razor thin.

Nick Walker Has His Olympia Ticket

Walker has already secured his place in the 2026 Mr. Olympia lineup.

Walker finished sixth at the 2025 Olympia. He came roaring back at the 2026 Arnold Classic, taking second behind Andrew Jacked while also finishing ahead of Hadi Choopan. He later punched his ticket to the Olympia with a victory at the Tampa Pro.

Now the attention shifts entirely toward Las Vegas.

Walker will be entering a loaded field that includes reigning champion Derek Lunsford, former champions Samson Dauda, Hadi Choopan and Brandon Curry, along with Andrew Jacked and a growing list of qualified contenders.

The 2026 Olympia is scheduled for September 24-27 in Las Vegas.

There is still plenty of work to be done before Walker gets under the Olympia lights, but there certainly doesn’t appear to be any uncertainty coming from “The Mutant.”

Forget needing everyone else to be off. Walker believes that if everyone brings their best, his best can still beat them all.
