The intense arm day of a top Olympia competitor
IFBB Pro bodybuilder, Samson Dauda is living up to his reputation as a “mass monster” with one of the most impressive physiques in the IFBB Pro League. In a recent YouTube video, ‘The Nigerian Lion’ gave fans a glimpse into his intense arm training session just 12 weeks out from the 2024 Mr. Olympia. It is coming up fast, and Dauda is nothing short of prepared.
Since turning professional, Dauda has been pegged for greatness by fans and experts of the sport. His unique combination of massive size, precise conditioning, and standout posing skills have distinguished him from his competitors. In his most recent outings, Dauda captivated audiences with a strong second-place finish at both the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio and the UK contest, where he faced off against Hadi Choopan, a former Mr. Olympia champion.
This year, Dauda made the tough decision to part ways with his long-time coach Milos Sarcev. Opting for a change, he relocated to Kuwait to train at the famed Oxygen Gym, known for producing top-tier bodybuilders like Brandon Curry and Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay.

Dauda begins his sessions by explaining his preference for supersets, combining biceps and triceps exercises in each arm workout.
He starts with light warm-up sets to get the blood flowing and the joints loose before escalating to more demanding working sets.
Preacher Curls and Dips
For the next superset, Dauda pairs seated dips with single-arm dumbbell hammer preacher curls, expressing his fondness for the dip machine. During preacher curls, Dauda uses his body weight to balance the movement.
Bicep Curls and Overhead Cables
Next, Dauda tackles the one-arm bicep curl machine, despite his size making it a tight fit.
He finishes with seated overhead cable extensions, his go-to for a solid finisher.
