Wesley Vissers joined Jay Cutler where the two got into career plans.
Bodybuilder Wesley Vissers has made his mark in Classic Physique. Despite not winning an Olympia title just yet, he has inserted himself into the top tier of competition. At this point in his career, has the thought of moving to Men’s Open crossed the mind of Vissers? He joined Jay Cutler for a workout and posing session where the two discussed future plans.
Vissers made his return to the stage and won the 2026 Arnold Classic in early March. This was his return to the stage and he brought a physique that was worthy of victory.
Vissers pulled off an upset, defeating Ramon Dino at the 2024 Arnold Classic, which was considered a major upset at the time, but fell down the scorecard at the Olympia. Vissers returned to Columbus to defend his Arnold title but ended up placing fifth. He was able to drastically improve his standing and set the stage for an exciting 2026 season.

Will Wesley Vissers Move To Men’s Open?

Jay Cutler brought up the topic of Wesley Vissers competing in Men’s Open during the Fibo Pro. He said he is waiting for Vissers to take on Open and the Classic champ shared that it is in his plans.
“Open for sure, it’s going to happen. Maybe sooner than later, who knows? Let’s see how this Olympia goes but I’m very excited for it.”
The Classic Physique division has seen plenty of action since the Olympia. Ramon Dino was able to win his first title by defeating Mike Sommerfeld, who finished as the Chris Bumstead during the 2024 Olympia. Queiroz is now preparing for the 2026 Olympia while others battled during the Arnold competitions last month.
Sommerfeld missed weight in Columbus and was unable to compete. Vissers won his second Arnold title in Sommerfeld’s absence. The two got a chance to go head-to-head weeks later at the Arnold UK with Sommerfeld holding a slight advantage to win gold. The stage has been set in the division for the remainder of the year until the biggest competition of the year.
