Shaun Clarida took on an intense arm workout during his prep for October!
Two-time Men’s 212 Olympia champion Shaun Clarida is preparing for the 2025 Olympia. Clarida has been working under the guidance of John Jewett since April and the two crushed an arm workout recently as the biggest show of the year quickly approaches.

Clarida finished seventh in Men’s Open during the 2025 Arnold Classic. Following the show, he took time to recoup and get his tank back to neutral, both mentally and physically. Clarida went up against Chris Bumstead and Martin Fitzwater during the 2024 EVLS Prague Pro and finished third.
Clarida has won an Open show in the past. He was victorious during the 2021 Legion Sports Fest Pro and this added a second qualification to the Olympia the following year. Ultimately, Clarida decided to remain in 212 and fight to regain his title in the division. After hitting Open once again, Clarida clarified that he will remain in Men’s 212 but plans to compete in multiple Open shows during the year.

Shaun Clarida hit a loaded arm workout, crushing biceps, triceps, and forearms during the session. Clarida, who worked out in his private gym, did not focus much on the camera but gave fans a chance to watch his workout and see how he performs each movement.
“We are just under five weeks out from the Olympia. I’m going to go in, lock in, not focus on the camera. You guys pretty much be a fly on the wall. I’m going to do some arms today.”
Earlier in the offseason, Clarida takes on a different schedule in the gym. Typically, he hits chest twice and adds arms into the mix. At this point of competition prep, which is five weeks out at the time of the workout, Clarida wants to hit each body part on its own day. This means a full arm day on its own, hitting all three points.
“Now at this point, where we’re trying to make sure everything is balanced, I am giving every body part its own day. That’s the plan right now.”
