Wesley Vissers picked a champion between Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates, Jay Cutler, and Phil Heath.
Wesley Vissers is preparing to take the stage in October in hopes of winning his first Classic Physique Olympia title. While he is one of the top in the division, Vissers is also a fan of the sport overall. So when he was asked a specific question about the all-time Mr. Olympia, Vissers was ready.
During a recent interview, Vissers was asked who would win in their prime — Ronnie Coleman, Phil Heath, Dorian Yates, or Jay Cutler.

Coleman and Cutler created one of the greatest on-stage rivalries in bodybuilding history. Coleman was at the top of bodybuilding from 1998-2005, winning eight consecutive Olympia titles. This included victories over Cutler. In 2006, Cutler was able to end Coleman’s reign and begin his own stretch of winning four titles in five years.
Heath totaled seven Olympia titles over the course of his career. In 2020, he stepped on stage for the final time but has been active in the gym ever since. During the 2020 show, Heath finished third and fans have been waiting for his return ever since. His seven titles is second all-time to Coleman and Lee Haney, who are tied at the top for eight. Many wonder if Heath would return in hopes of matching this all-time record.

Wesley Vissers was given the list of four competitors and placed them in order he believes they would rank in their primes:
- First Place – Ronnie Coleman
- Second Place – Phil Heath
- Third Place – Jay Cutler
- Fourth Place – Dorian Yates
“Jay Cutler, in his prime maybe either 2001 or 2009, his mass I think is just more dominant than Dorian’s and it’s very difficult to see how conditioned Dorian really was compared to the guys now because of the difference in quality.”

From 1992-1997, Yates did not lose a competition and racked up six-consecutive Olympia titles. Following his final victory on the biggest stage, Yates retired from bodybuilding after suffering different injuries. In retirement, Yates has maintained a shredded physique while sharing his wisdom in the gym, as have many competitors from decades prior.
Many former bodybuilders have become great social media presences where they can speak to fans and share different pieces of advice.
