Who will win the first-ever Men’s Open competition at the Pittsburgh Pro?!
The 2025 Pittsburgh Pro will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh during the Power & Fitness Festival. The first-ever Men’s Open competition will be the headliner of the weekend but there will be a total of seven divisions in bodybuilding taking the stage for the event.
In October, IFBB Pro League Vice President Tyler Manion shared the news that Open Bodybuilding would be coming to Pittsburgh. Over the years, this show became a notable event featuring a star-studded lineup of IFBB Pro athletes taking the stage as guest posers. Many have used the Pittsburgh Pro as a checkpoint in the beginning of the summer to show off progress made.
Now, some of the top competitors in the world will get a chance to compete during the show.
How to Watch
The action from Pittsburgh will begin on Saturday morning with the prejudging rounds for Men’s Open, Classic Physique, and Men’s Physique. The finals will take place on Saturday night. All other divisions will take place on Sunday.
A live stream will be available here on the Pittsburgh Power & Fitness Festival website. Saturday’s stream will be available for $29.99 while Sunday’s can be purchased for $24.99.

Top Contenders to Watch
Derek Lunsford
Lunsford has big plans for the 2025 season. It began when he won the Arnold Classic in March. He entered the Pittsburgh Pro, calling it a “legacy show.” Lunsford plans to win Pittsburgh and then make it three in a row at the Olympia at the end of the year. Can he bring enough size to compete with the other competitors? Lunsford’s victory at the Arnold keeps him at the top of Men’s Open. It will be interesting to see if he can peak three times over the course of the year.
Nick Walker
Walker has impressed in a big way in his latest physique updates leading up to the Pittsburgh Pro. He has not stepped on stage since his victory at the 2024 New York Pro. He decided he was not ready for the Olympia and continued his hiatus from competition. Walker has put on an insane amount of size ahead of the show. There could be even more changes coming in this final week. With Walker at full strength, it will be exciting to see if he can come in at his very best. If Walker is as shredded as he is big, he will be difficult to beat.
Martin Fitzwater
Fitzwater made a big jump into the top four during the 2024 Olympia. He finished as the runner-up to Walker in New York, which came with plenty of controversy. Fitzwater made major improvements to climb up the scorecard at the Olympia. The question is, can he keep up with the size of Lunsford and Walker? Fitzwater needed to make improvements this offseason once again. With the overall size in this show, there is no doubt that Fitzwater will compete for a top three spot, but he will have to do a lot to win.
Michal Krizo
Krizo is returning to the stage after a shoulder injury that required surgery. He had to put his prep on hold to fix his injury and get back to full health. Now that he is healthy, Krizo has shared updates where he looks peeled already. There is a chance that Krizo comes in with the best package we have seen. He is most impressive from the front, showing off his insane biceps, but needs to bring his back and side up to speed. What we know is Krizo should come into Pittsburgh with his best conditioning.
Vitalii “Good Vito” Ugolnikov
Good Vito will be a dark-horse competitor to place in the top three at this show. It might be difficult with the competition but this battle with Fitzwater has a chance to be one of the most intense to watch. Vito is still raw as a poser and will need to make improvements to his overall presentation. His back is a point of emphasis as well. Good Vito has made progress and there is a chance that he can sneak into the Top 10 at the Olympia this year. At this show, we will get a chance to see him against some of the best in the world.
William Bonac
Bonac was not the best version of himself and this led to a break from competition. Once he made his return, many believed that he was back at the top of his game. While he is still not the best version we have seen of Bonac, he is still highly competitive. We saw this during his victory at the Detroit Pro earlier in the year.
