Can Wesley Vissers capitalize on momentum built this year?
Wesley Vissers has arrived in Classic Physique here in 2024. The Arnold Classic champion continues to improve in the gym and prepare for the Olympia. The question is, can be take the ultimate step and defeat the reigning five-time champ?
Vissers recently trained with bodybuilding legend Ronnie Coleman in the Netherlands. Coleman has totaled eight Olympia titles, which is tied for the most all-time with Lee Haney. If there is one person who knows about winning on the biggest stage in bodybuilding, it is Coleman and he had some high praise for Vissers.

Vissers earned his Pro Card in 2017 and won Mr. Golden Era that same year. Aside from that, he also has been on the Mr. Olympia stage on several different occasions, and being on that stage is one of the highest honors in the sport of bodybuilding. Standing tall at 6’2” and weighing from 216 lbs to 234 lbs, the physique that Vissers has crafted has earned him a lot of respect and popularity in the bodybuilding world.
Can Wesley Vissers Defeat Chris Bumstead?
The Classic Physique division continues to be extremely top-heavy and Wesley Vissers is now in the mix. He arrived with his victory at the 2024 Arnold Classic and inserted his name into contention for the Olympia title.
Vissers has been training with Coleman this offseason. The bodybuilding legend recently shared a video of the workout and had a title that will stir some conversation.

The Classic Physique division continued to grow and add talent, led by Chris Bumstead. He defeated Breon Ansley in 2019 Olympia to take the Olympia title and has not relinquished it since. Ramon Dino and Urs Kalecinski have also turned into elite competitors in the division. Classic Physique is one of the deepest divisions in bodybuilding and that continues with the emergence of Vissers.
