Mya, daughter of Brock Lesnar, has become the top shot putter in the nation.
WWE superstar Brock Lesnar made a name for himself in professional wrestling and UFC using his insane strength and athleticism. His daughter, Mya Lesnar, is doing the same at the NCAA level.
Lesnar, a senior at Colorado State, recently won her fourth consecutive Mountain West shot put title. On her final toss of the event, Lesnar propelled into the top spot, setting multiple NCAA records and earning the spot as the No. 1 shot putter in the nation.
Lesnar’s final toss of the meet went an incredible 18.08 meters/59-feet-4.0 meters with 19.60/64-3.5. This placed her in the top three marks in NCAA history in women’s shot put. Lesnar spoke with the Colorado State athletics site following her performance and credited her support system for this accomplishment.
“I got very emotional. Not because of my mark, but because all my family got to be here, even my dog. I have a couple more months to focus on track, and I’ve sacrificed a lot to do this. The support from my teammates and boyfriend it’s been great.”
Mya Lesnar was named the Mountain West Female Athlete of the Year in 2024 after winning the NCAA Indoor Shot Put National Championship. As a sophomore in 2023, she set the Colorado State record with a toss of 18.50 meters. Lesnar came into Colorado State as a force and has only improved upon her reputation becoming the top shot putter in the nation.
